About Gentle Paw Doodles
Gentle Paw Doodles is a family-based breeding program founded by Dr. Angelique Mogavero and supported by her husband, Mike. Our program was created from a deep love for dogs and a commitment to raising healthy, loving puppies with the temperament, confidence, and emotional stability needed to become treasured family companions.
Our dogs are members of our family first. They live in our home, share in our daily lives, and receive attentive care, affection, structure, and enrichment. Our puppies are also born and raised inside our home, where they experience gentle handling, everyday household sounds, age-appropriate socialization, and meaningful interaction with people from their earliest days.
We make each breeding decision thoughtfully. Health testing, DNA results, temperament, structure, breed compatibility, and the long-term well-being of our dogs and puppies all play an important role in our program. Our goal is not simply to produce beautiful puppies, but to raise well-rounded dogs with strong foundations for a lifetime of companionship.
Gentle Paw Doodles is closely connected to our nonprofit organization, Loving Labradoodles for Children and Veterans with Disabilities. Through this shared mission, carefully evaluated puppies may be considered as service-dog or support-dog prospects for disabled veterans and families of children with disabilities. This connection allows our breeding program to serve a purpose greater than placing puppies in homes—it gives some of our dogs the opportunity to provide comfort, independence, connection, and life-changing support.
Whether one of our puppies is chosen for future service work or joins a family as a beloved companion, every puppy receives the same intentional beginning. We are committed to responsible breeding, honest communication, thoughtful placement, and continued support for the families who become part of the Gentle Paw Doodles family.

Our Philosophy
At Gentle Paw Doodles, we believe responsible breeding begins with purpose, preparation, and genuine care for every dog and puppy in our program.
Our dogs are family first. They are raised in our home, included in our daily lives, and cared for as beloved companions. We believe this loving foundation helps shape puppies who are confident, affectionate, adaptable, and prepared to build strong bonds with their future families.
Every breeding decision is made thoughtfully. We consider health testing, DNA results, temperament, structure, compatibility, and the qualities each pairing may pass on. Beauty matters, but it never comes before health, emotional stability, or long-term well-being.
We also believe that a puppy’s earliest experiences matter. From birth, our puppies receive gentle handling, age-appropriate socialization, household exposure, enrichment, and individual attention. Our goal is to help each puppy develop a strong foundation for life as a cherished companion or, when suitable, as a future service- or support-dog prospect.
Our breeding program is connected to Loving Labradoodles for Children and Veterans with Disabilities, allowing our work to support a greater mission. Some puppies may be carefully evaluated for the potential to help disabled veterans or families of children with disabilities, while others will bring love, comfort, and companionship into family homes.
Above all, we believe responsible breeding means being honest, intentional, and committed for the life of every puppy we raise.
Our Experience
Gentle Paw Doodles combines hands-on breeding experience with a thoughtful, organized approach to raising healthy, well-prepared puppies.
Our experience includes carefully planning breedings, reviewing health and DNA testing, supporting our mothers through pregnancy and whelping, monitoring newborn development, and raising puppies through each important stage before they join their families. We pay close attention to health, growth, temperament, social development, and the individual needs of every puppy in our care.
Our puppies are raised inside our home, where we are able to observe them closely and learn their personalities as they develop. This daily involvement helps us better understand each puppy’s confidence, energy level, affection, adaptability, and potential fit for a family or future service-related work.
As our program has grown, we have continued expanding our knowledge through ongoing education, relationships with trusted breeders, veterinary guidance, genetic testing, and real-world experience caring for poodles and doodles of different sizes, coat types, temperaments, and backgrounds.
Angelique brings more than 27 years of experience in leadership, business development, planning, and helping people build strong foundations. She applies that same level of care, structure, and attention to detail to every part of Gentle Paw Doodles—from breeding decisions and puppy development to family communication and long-term support.
Our experience has taught us that responsible breeding is not only about producing healthy puppies. It is about preparation, careful observation, honest communication, and remaining committed to each puppy and family long after go-home day.

Lifetime Support
Our commitment to lifetime support ensures that new families have the guidance they need to care for their puppy, fostering a lasting bond.

Our Dogs
Our dogs are the heart of Gentle Paw Doodles. They are beloved family members first and breeding dogs second. They live inside our home, share our daily routines, relax beside us, play together, and receive the love, attention, and care every dog deserves.
Our program includes carefully selected Poodles and Doodles in a range of sizes, colors, and coat types. Each dog is chosen for more than appearance. We consider health, temperament, structure, intelligence, emotional stability, and the qualities they may pass on to future puppies.
We are committed to responsible health testing and thoughtful breeding decisions. DNA results, recommended health evaluations, family history, personality, and compatibility are reviewed before planning a pairing. When we work with an outside stud, we choose dogs from trusted breeding programs that share our standards for health, temperament, and responsible care.

Every dog in our program has an individual personality and an important place within our family. Some are playful and outgoing, while others are calm, affectionate, or especially intuitive. By living closely with them, we are able to understand their strengths and make more informed decisions about pairings, puppy development, and placement.

Our dogs also help support the greater mission behind our program. Puppies with suitable temperaments may be evaluated as future service- or support-dog prospects through Loving Labradoodles for Children and Veterans with Disabilities. Others will become deeply loved companions who bring comfort, joy, and connection to their families.

Above all, our dogs are loved for who they are—not simply for the puppies they may produce. Their health, happiness, safety, and quality of life will always remain at the center of our breeding program.

Our Promise
At Gentle Paw Doodles, our promise is to raise every puppy with love, intention, and the highest level of care we can provide.

We promise to make thoughtful breeding decisions based on health, temperament, structure, genetic testing, and compatibility—not appearance alone. The well-being of our dogs and puppies will always come before convenience, trends, or profit.

We promise to raise our puppies inside our home, where they receive gentle handling, age-appropriate enrichment, socialization, and exposure to everyday family life. Our goal is to help each puppy develop confidence, trust, adaptability, and a strong foundation for their future.
We promise to be honest and transparent with our families. We will share what we know about each puppy’s health, development, temperament, and needs, while also being clear that every puppy continues to grow and change after leaving our home.

We promise to place our puppies thoughtfully. Whether a puppy is joining a family as a beloved companion or is being considered as a future service- or support-dog prospect through Loving Labradoodles for Children and Veterans with Disabilities, we want each placement to be safe, appropriate, and lasting.

Most importantly, our commitment does not end on go-home day. We promise to remain a source of guidance, encouragement, and support as our puppies grow into cherished members of their families.
