Our Promise
We promise to raise every puppy the way a family should — with warmth, intention, and hands-on love from the moment they take their first breath. We understand the responsibility of bringing new life into the world, and we honor that responsibility with patience, gentleness, and careful attention to every stage of development.
We promise:
• to prioritize health, temperament, and emotional stability above all
• to handle puppies daily, introducing them to touch, sound, and life inside a loving home
• to provide proper veterinary care, nutritional support, early neurological stimulation, and age-appropriate enrichment
• to raise puppies who feel safe, trusting, and ready to bond deeply with their forever families
• to remain a lifelong resource for every family, we place a puppy with
We promise that no puppy leaves us unseen, untouched, or unloved.
Our puppies begin life wrapped in security and affection, and they go home ready to offer the same comfort to the people who will love them next. Some will go on to serve children or veterans through our nonprofit. Others will curl up beside a family, becoming someone’s companion, someone’s joy, someone’s heart.
Every puppy we raise is a gift — and we promise to treat them that way.
About Us
Gentle Paws Doodles is a family-based breeding program rooted in love, purpose, and hands-on experience — not a large kennel or commercial operation. Our dogs live in our home, sleep under our roof, and share life with us every day. They are our companions first, our breeding dogs second, and the heart behind everything we do.
Our story began with a house full of poodles and doodles who changed our lives in ways we never expected. From there, we expanded with intention — not to breed in volume, but to raise puppies who are healthy, balanced, emotionally grounded, and deeply loved from birth. We pair our dogs thoughtfully, focus on temperament and health above all, and raise each litter inside our home where puppies grow through touch, sound, routine, and connection from day one.
Our mission reaches beyond pet ownership. Many of our puppies are placed as cherished family companions, while those with exceptional temperaments will be donated to Loving Labradoodles for Children and Veterans with Disabilities, a nonprofit founded to provide service and support dogs to those in need. We believe a dog can change a life — and through this work, we hope to change many.
Years of experience raising puppies, bottle-feeding newborns through the Humane Society, and managing nonprofit breeding for service-dog development have shaped how we approach care, early socialization, and emotional foundation. We do not simply breed — we nurture.
Every puppy here is held, loved, and raised with intention. They begin their lives with warmth, stability, and security, and they leave us ready to bring that same comfort to the world.
This is who we are.
This is Gentle Paws Doodles.
Where love begins — and where purpose grows.

Our Philosophy
We believe a well-raised dog can change a life.
Our philosophy is simple: puppies deserve to begin their lives surrounded by love, structure, and gentle hands. From the moment they are born, they are raised inside our home — hearing our voices, feeling human comfort, learning trust, and growing in an environment where they are more than animals. They are family.
We do not breed for numbers. We breed for purpose, temperament, soundness, and heart. Every pairing is chosen intentionally, and every puppy is nurtured as an individual. We focus on early neurological development, calm handling, exposure to household sounds, mild challenges, and social experiences that give our puppies confidence and resilience.
We believe in raising puppies who move into the world emotionally steady, eager to bond, and ready to bring comfort, joy, and companionship to the people who need them most. Some will become beloved family pets. Others will go on to change lives through our nonprofit as service or support dogs. All will carry the same beginning — security, patience, guidance, and love.
Our philosophy is rooted in respect for the breed, the emotional needs of the puppies we raise, and the families who will one day call them their own. We honor the responsibility of bringing new life into the world, and we work every day to ensure each puppy leaves us not only healthy but deeply prepared for a lifetime of connection.
This is our standard.
This is our purpose.
This is our promise.

Our Experience
Our experience is hands-on, heart-led, and rooted in years of caring for dogs from the most fragile stage of life through full maturity. We have raised, whelped, bottle-fed, and nurtured puppies through day-one neonatal care, socialization, and placement — not as a hobby, but as a calling we understand deeply.
Our journey began with years of involvement in compassionate animal care, including volunteer work as a bottle-baby feeder for the Phoenix Humane Society. There, we cared for orphaned puppies and kittens around the clock — feeding every two hours, stimulating elimination, stabilizing body temperature, and supporting life when the odds were often uncertain. That experience shaped the foundation of our program: gentle hands, quick response, and unwavering commitment to every life entrusted to us.
From there, we developed and operated Loving Labradoodles for Children and Veterans with Disabilities, a nonprofit dedicated to raising and training dogs for emotional support and service placement. Working with dogs intended for life-altering roles taught us to prioritize temperament, mental structure, sensory tolerance, and emotional balance — traits we now cultivate intentionally in every litter we raise.
Over the years, we have:
• Bottle-fed and raised newborns in medically fragile conditions
• Managed whelping, neonatal care, and early puppy development
• Facilitated emotional-support and service-dog–track placements
• Handled litters from birth through adoption with structured progression
• Focused on gentle socialization, household exposure, and early confidence building
Our experience has shaped a program that is soft-handed, observant, intuitive, and proactive. We do not simply watch puppies grow — we guide their development, monitor milestones, introduce appropriate sensory challenges, and support emotional resilience from day one.
This is where experience meets purpose.
This is what prepared us for the work we do today.
Adoption Process
We provide detailed information on the adoption process, so families feel confident and informed when bringing home a doodle.
Lifetime Support
Our commitment to lifetime support ensures that new families have the guidance they need to care for their puppy, fostering a lasting bond.
Our Dogs
Our dogs are not livestock — they are family. They live in our home, sleep at our feet, follow us from room to room, and are loved as deeply as any member of our household. They spend their days playing, exploring, learning, and resting in comfort. They receive high-quality nutrition, veterinary care, enrichment, and the kind of affection that helps dogs feel safe, secure, and happy.
We share our lives with both Miniature and Moyen (small Standard) Poodles, along with our medium Goldendoodle. Each contributes something beautiful to our home and to the puppies we raise.
• Moyen Poodles typically weigh 20–35 pounds and offer the elegant structure of a Standard Poodle in a more compact size. They are athletic, intelligent, and responsive — perfect partners for families who enjoy an active but manageable dog.
